Art on a grand scale in gardens
Started in the early 2000s by the chatelaine and artist Dorianna Destenay, following her meeting with the sculptor Manuel Torres, the collection combines contemporary sculpture and living heritage.
With more than 120 works installed in the gardens, the estate is now recognized as a veritable open-air sculpture park. The current lord of the manor adds to the collection every year, inspired by his artistic encounters and personal favorites.
The Château de Vullierens has thus become a unique place where art, nature, and emotion come together, where contemporary sculpture can be experienced during an inspiring stroll.

A contemporary art gallery in the heart of the Château
The outbuildings of Château de Vullierens are home to a temporary art gallery, where contemporary Swiss and international artists exhibit their creations. Housed in the former barn, this unique space combines historical heritage with contemporary art, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, and photography.
Evolving and vibrant, this contemporary art gallery presents artists several times a year, chosen based on the castle owner’s encounters and favorites.
