At the end of the bridle path lies a charming little wood, a haven of peace and shade. Unlike the formal gardens surrounding the Château, this corner has been carefully preserved in its wild state: here, nature expresses itself freely, at its peak.
Following the path through the trees—some of which are remarkably old—you cross a discreet stream that feeds the pond, then discover spots conducive to rest and contemplation. Listen to the birds singing, let yourself be surprised by the ever-changing plants of the undergrowth.
Two paths are available to visitors: one, populated by elves and mysterious creatures, the other, more playful, leads children through the famous Kingdom of King Lizard trail.
At the end of the Petit Bois, extend the experience with an artistic escape along the Torres Walk, a path lined with some twenty monumental sculptures by Manuel Torres. A return journey filled with art and wonder.
